When the idea to publish this book came to me, I looked online for publishers. Nowadays there are many publishers that offer self publishing but I couldn't find one that could do what I wanted.
I would send a perfectly beautiful manuscript that would loose all it's vibrance as soon as a publisher took charge of it. And when asked why that was, I got either no reply or no-one could explain why the layout changed.
Since this is a book entirely made up of photo's, it's kind of essential that the colors and make-up are perfect.
So I had to invent this wheel myself. I went to a local printing company in the Netherlands and they explained what happens at publishing companies and what I could do to keep a grip on the colors.
Now I was in controle. From A to Y, I created this book, I left Z (the printing) to the professionals.
The result is a stunning and unique photo book, printed to a very high standard.
